Q and A with Carrie Hinkel-Gill

Q.  So what is it about the supernatural that lights your fire?
A.  There isn't any one special thing except for the creativity that you get, such as superhuman powers. 
Q.  What's your poison, Vamp, Were, Zombie?
A.  While I read stories about vamps and weres, I definitely prefer dragons!
Q.  What makes them sexy?
A.  I don't really know.  I've had a thing for dragons pretty much since birth and I have quite a number of them in my room.  I've never seen them as evil though.   
Q.  Have you ever had a Supernatural experience?
A.  Yes, I grew up with ghosts in the house and I have seen a few.  How do I know they were ghosts?  Well, because I was wide awake when I saw them and, the detail I remember about them is too vivid because they have faces and I generally don't see faces clearly in my dreams unless I know the people or they're celebrities.  The ghosts I've seen sure aren't celebrities and I've never met them before! 
Q.  What is your secret guilty pleasure?  I adore Winnie the Pooh.  Your turn.
A.  I don't have any pleasures that I feel guilty for having.  I have always loved Eeyore and have two shirts with him on it, I love the old-style Sesame Street (pre-Elmo), I love to watch General Hospital, I love Kermit the Frog, I have tons of stuffed animals and Breyer horses as well as tons of books from my childhood.  I love Drizzt Do'Urden, a Dark Elf of R.A. Salvatore's collection.  My all-time favorite vamp was Detective Nick Knight from the series Forever Knight.  I'm a huge anime fan too.  InuYasha and FullMetal Alchemist are two of my favorites.  Pleasures, yes, guilty, no.
